Journey of the Cowboy King

About the Game
Journey of the Cowboy King is a Stardew Valley-inspired arcade game created with no game engine as a university project. Drawing from the charm of Journey of the Prairie King, this game is our tribute to retro shooters.

Our Goal
This project was developed in just one month with no game engine as part of a course to explore Vulkan, Gateware, and EnTT. It's been a challenging but rewarding experience as we learned the ins and outs of game development.
A Note from Us
This is purely a learning experience, and we want to emphasize that it’s not intended to replicate or compete with the original game. We hope it brings a little fun to your day and showcases what two students can create with dedication and creativity!
